I made a new game since I retired Bowser's Castle v.03. It is a sidescrolling game that is entirely unfinished, and I will not be finishing. But if u rip it, u could easily reposition the characters into any position you like, because i used the same body parts throughout.

Making a new Sex Movie clip:
Every individual body part graphic is designed for motion tweening.
Begin with a simple standing motion in the first keyframes, then create a gap of frames between it and a second set of keyframes. Edit the second set of keyframes as your sexual position. Tween it! Then make sure the speed is what you want, then add any keyframes inbetween to tweek any body parts that aren't moving correctly. Done! move on to the next movement. Perhaps the thrust for your sexual position.

All you basically need is four main keyframe sets.
1. Standstill
2. Sexual Position start
3. Sexual Position finished thrust
4. Sexual Position start (the same as 2, so you can loop back to 2)

If this doesn't make sense, go into the fla file yourself and take a look at how I did it.

Newbs:
I used Flash 8 (not player, the actual flash editing program).
It will likely baffle you, so go to youtube and take a crash course by searching tutorials on flash. OR you could copy one of the sex scenes and make a new fla out of it, and then just concern yourself with editing that, so your not overwhelmed.

New Characters:
1. Duplicate one of the Graphics such as Peach Standing, and rename it whatever u want.
2. Go into that duplicated character, then right click and duplicate ever single graphic that makes up the character, with the name of your new character rather than peach.
3. Now go ahead and double click each of the new body graphics, editing in whatever order you want (colour changing mostly, or adding tattoos and so forth, likely you'll only end up really changing the clothes and the head).

New Areas:
You could make a billion more forests, by simply copying one of the ones already existing, and reordering the trees. Thats what I did.

Cum:
Use a brush, plain white colour, on its own top layer, and use transparent overlay to draw out a seamless movement from frame to frame.

I do not have an FA account.
I think a thread to post spinoffs is a great idea, but I'm really done dealing with this project, so please be more than welcome to make your own site or thread.

And here, I almost forgot to add it. Its Batman fucking Supergirl. It uses the same body graphic template as in TLOK.
Its just one animation, and the buttons are two black circles located on the bottom left.

I've started taking a look at this, am currently working on fixing bugs and tidying up the scenes that are currently there. Will hopefully be able to show the result soon!

I'm only currently looking at the actual Krystal parts of this, I may remove the peach and link parts from any updates I create, as IMO they would be better as their own games.

Anyways, many thanks for even creating this, and especially for the .fla file! Even in its incomplete and buggy form this is a fun little flash!

I've been working to try and tidy up some parts of the existing game, of course the temptation to add new bits has delayed me considerably! I've opted to finalise my to-do list for now so hopefully I'll get around to showing what I've done soon!

PlayShapes if you're still reading this, what font did you use for the Dark Woods and Zora's Domain sign?

Attached is a small preview of some of the new idle sequences I've done, I'm hoping I can finish up what I'm doing soon and post a "proper" release soon, otherwise I'll throw one or two of the naughty changes up here too as previews =)

It's hard to say, I'm currently working on overhauling the General Scales animation a bit, and the same with a few others. If I'm optimistic I'd say end of this week but I can't say for sure.

My focus is on tidying up what's currently there, fixing bugs, and finishing off half-complete scenes; scenes which have no animation at all I'm leaving alone for the moment, so I'm not doing anything with the demon characters, my thinking is to omit them and provide some kind of temporary "end" to the game till the Dark Woods can be fleshed out.

The .fla file for Legend of Krystal actually contains the same basic character for Fox McCloud as Bowser's Castle seems to. It needs to be broken into more pieces, as currently a large part of it is joined together as a single shape but it should be usable.

Interestingly on the first screen of the Scaleskin Tavern, the Fox & Krystal animation is hidden in the background, i.e - you can't access it in-game, but it's there if you look in the .fla file. In my current working version I've removed that instance, but am keeping the pieces to one side to break apart later.

There are quite a few useful bits and pieces that PlayShapes has lying around in the .fla file that should be usable to create new scenes.

You'll want to add buttons, there are some provided in the .fla PlayShapes provided. Basically when you're editing the timeline, it's possible to name some of the frames, simply select a frame, and in the properties window name it. It's usually easiest if you have a separate layer for actions and names so that they're easy to find again.

Then, after creating a button (also on a new layer is best) simply select it, open the action-script window, and enter:

on (release) { gotoAndPlay("myFrame"); }

Where "myFrame" is whatever you named the frame you want to jump to. Alternatively you can enter a number instead of the name, but I find names much easier to work with. Just enter suitable targets for your forward and back buttons, and remember to create new keyframes any time the buttons should change to a new target.

If you want to have looping "stages" as in the original flash, then simply name the start of the looping segment, then at the end the loop, create a new keyframe, select it, and in the action script window enter:

gotoAndPlay("beginningOfLoop");

Just like with the button above. This will create an infinite looping sequence, at which point you need to press a button in order to "escape" it and jump to another part of the timeline.

My intention isn't to remove them completely, I have some ideas for how to fit them in more coherently. It's just that my aim is to tighten up what's there into a "complete" demo of sorts, then move forward from there by completing more of the unfinished content and adding it in. If someone completes some of the demon scenes though then I'd be happy to swap them into my copy if they want!

I'll be releasing the .fla files I use for each release so they will still contain all content that came in the original PlayShapes gave out, even if I choose to omit some of it from the game proper for the time being.

I'm also hoping to put together some easier method for collaborating on this, but I'll focus on releasing what I'm doing first!

Yeah just pop that script into each button, pointing to the relevant choice for each one. In order to get the animation to pause you'll either want to put in a loop as I described, or if you just want it to freeze you can create a keyframe where the buttons appear, and simply enter:

stop();

Which stops animation, but still allows the buttons to function =)

I've put together a super-basic web-site for working on this. The main page currently just has links to PlayShapes' versions of the files, but also has a mailing list, and a forum which could hopefully be used as a collaborative space.

You need Adobe Flash. I believe the earliest version of the program you can use to edit these particular files is Flash 8. Flash CS4 is the newest version and include some tools that will inevitably be used in the projects future, so opt for that.

I've been working to try and tidy up some parts of the existing game, of course the temptation to add new bits has delayed me considerably! I've opted to finalise my to-do list for now so hopefully I'll get around to showing what I've done soon!

Sizing of the butt does seem to be a hit and miss for some, I think it's the better way to do the legs, but working with the current pieces limited me on sizing; while I do draw, I'm stuck using a wireless mouse so I'm not in much of a position to do new graphics myself, future releases will involve some of the great artistic talent that's become interested in the project, so hopefully such things can be remedied =)

At http://legendofkrystal.renara.com, there are links to play the game, but also for the source (.fla) file. You can download that and open it in a suitable version of Flash (the editor, not to be confused with Flash player).

In v0.2 everything has been organised a bit better so it should be easy to find the scene, and anyone is welcome to animate it if they wish. It's up to you how you get a copy of Flash though, anything from Flash 8 up should work fine for the current version of the game =)

There isn't a whole lot that is trimmed out when the .swf is built, there are a few unused symbols and hidden layers sure, but I think the v0.1 version just didn't have compression enabled, so some of the mp3's for the music will have been included as-is. I haven't actually had a good look at the file to check though, but I seem to remember checking the compression settings in the publish options and it went way-down, takes a lot longer to build though mind you so I turned it off while developing, and got around the same 12mb file-size.

It's purely a matter of taste. The other is more smooth, understated, but the first more colourful. The first is probably easier to animate and make stuff for, as well - easier for small flaws to go unnoticed.

Clearing up small flaws is one of the most time-consuming things in flash, so using the original style will lead to more time for more content.

Don't understand why you can't quite get it. You guys don't read much on the LoK forums. And I can tell you that by reading the first 100 posts here--because you still don't understand how the game is being developed.
The LoK Team is hard at work on the new version of Legend of Krystal v0.3, with completely new and much improved characters, backgrounds, animations, and an entirely new engine that's a huge overhaul. I'm not here to brag about a whole bunch of new features, though.
I'm here because people think that all that's going on over at the LoK forums is talk. And if you even think that, by some measure, you're wrong. If you've read enough of the Team's posts, you'd know that we're keeping a great deal of production top secret til' the release of v0.3, so it will be a surprise. We post some, or at least, I post some cropped sneak peaks at the characters every so often in order to show that we're getting stuff done, but I can't keep doing it forever, I'm not supposed to xD
We've accomplished a lot in the last two months. I'll be showing off a character very soon as a result of a community involved poll. There's a lot of community involvement in this project, despite the secrecy.
We've got some really great talent working with us on the LoK Team. We're all really dedicated to making this game happen. Just wait around, stop complaining, you'll see the result in due time.

v0.3 is our main priority, with a completely new game engine, completely redone graphics, as well as fully redone animations and everything. The comment was definitely uncalled for, and I apologize for posting it. Don’t get me wrong, look at my posts, I’m very positive--we all have our own troubles over at the team alongside forum troubles, and when anyone dedicates their time to personal attacks and flames, on a forum based upon brainstorming and having a good time—we’ve reached an impasse.
Right now, I'm the guy responsible for making all artwork. So how do you think it feels when someone says “don't hold your breath on this one," or "it will never get done. My guess is they are probobly working on it and ignoring most of the people of the forums” as opposed to “be patient, it could take a while.” For the work I put into each and every damned character, every little shape that goes into a single outline, it just doesn’t feel right that people post that kind of substance.

Gay content will be in the game, and we've said and confirmed that we'll have a decent amount of fetishes, there's even a thread to request fetishes. We're just not making the gay scenes, and if that, any time soon. I'm giving you guys a pretty great amount of imagination room with the characters--namely because they're very flexible--if you can get a pretty dedicated homosexual/bisexual animator, I'm sure that gay content will be possible. But even if our animators chose to make it, the LoK Team won't be making any of it until the last build of the game--due to high demand of the v0.3 release. We're using Flash equipped with AS3 to make the game, get some guy who knows iK and the bone tool, it will fit right in :)
Though, I'm not one to personally enjoy gay content. Sure I've been a little faded going through image galleries, but it still turns me off big time to view it.
Gay content, if included, will still be on the content filter turned "off" as default, so those straight guys who just skip right through the menus won't be like "AWW SHIT!" and leave us right on the spot, forever D:

If the guy who posted these really wanted it in, the model will need to be a LOT higher quality to at least be somewhat of a match up with the graphics in v0.3, and made indefinitely in either Adobe Illustrator or Flash for the successful vector format, with EACH joint separated piece by piece so it's not a hassle for us to work with. Basically, it's got to be better looking and fully posable. But even if it was--even if the correct schematics were met, or even exceeded--we couldn't even have it in, because the main character needs so much more than just a simple one side view. Not being harsh, I make characters all the time--they all have to be ready to go before I send them to animation--that's just the process.
You'll understand what I'm talking about come v0.3.
Oh yeah, MOST IMPORTANTLY, it needs to be posted on the LoK forums, where content goes if you want it in game. Otherwise, you'll never see it. I've really got no play in v0.2.x, because v0.3 is the big overhaul/update/upgrade, whatever you want to call it. Some guys are using their free time to make a game that us other people can enjoy. They aren't getting paid, however, they are being rather cooperative and taking many suggestion/community based concepts and putting them into the old version of the game. Ontop of that, they are making a newly graphics designed version of the game, and that takes even longer because, again, they are doing it in their free time. For FREE.

Who cares about the content? The fact that you guys are bitching about bi/gay content is a little ridiculous, the original game didn't have any, so why would the new version? It's not a mandatory update. Be happy that Kalypso is even doing any of that content in the first place.

To make another point, he's not making "Different version" based on sexuality... it's going to be ONE game with the ability to turn exclusive homosexual content on or off. It's a good feature. Just wanted to nip in to clarify since it still seems to be a point of confusion; the official releases of v0.3 and beyond are going to be developed to target a straight audience, with a few fetish items thrown in.

However, the game-engine is being designed to support content filtering from day one, which means that all official releases will be capable of handling gay, bisexual or whatever other content that crops up.

However, the LoK team will not be developing such content, we've got enough work to do as it is! But we'll be actively encouraging community content, and if people do produce gay content of a good enough quality, then we may add it to official releases (though disabled by default).

Our aim you see is to produce a flexible game-engine, but then use this to construct a complete LoK game some time before the sun explodes. To do this we need to give ourselves a focus, even if it means a lot of potentially popular content has to be left out until much later on, or rely on community efforts.

It also depends what version of the game you're asking about. As mentioned in the official "The Plan 2.0" thread on the forums; v0.3 isn't going to be much bigger than v0.2 in terms of the overall locations visited, however it is going to be completely remastered in keeping with the new game engine, etc. So while the main areas will still be the SharpClaw Village, the Caves, and a little bit beyond, you ought to get a lot more out of the remastered versions of these areas.

Further versions such as v0.4 and beyond however will add more and more completely new content in, with the eventual aim of v1.0 which will be a "complete" game encompassing a large number of areas, large variety of enemies and scenes, but all within a single storyline.

We don't currently plan to have optional character switching. The game engine will support such a thing just fine, but it's more likely to be limited to areas like cutscenes, or specific tasks that Krystal can't perform on her own. There won't be anything stopping people from adding different main characters though, or even a choice of several if that's what you want, such a thing should be fairly easy. But in the early versions of the game at least you should expect to be playing as Krystal for pretty much the whole game.

More seriously though, Kal does put a ton of effort into refining each character and we have loads of steps of feedback and refinement till things are just right. Most pics publicly viewable on the LoK forums are peeks at earlier versions of a character, and PlayShapes has been very positive about the new art style and characters, so there's no need to worry at all! Hell, if anything the quality standard is too high as it's part of the reason v0.3 is taking so long, but it'll be well worth it =)

Well since that's my job I suppose I should answer! It really depends though on how much you want out of it, I've been quite ambitious with the engine and as a result it's taking ages. It would probably have been done sooner though if I could dedicate more time to working on it but being self-employed is quite time-consuming. The engine is going to be worth it though, and we've some even more interesting capabilities planned for v0.4.

If you're looking at doing something yourself though, then my recommendation is to try to get an idea of what you need the engine to do, then create little experiments for each of those features, then from that you can plan how to piece everything you learn together, as planning is what makes the difference between re-usable, easy to upgrade code, and a hacky nightmare =)

It's hardly going to be "the same game"; the game-engine is far more capable than the previous one if you can even call it that (no offence PlayShapes) as the "engine" in v0.1 and v0.2 is really just a collection of ActionScript 2 snippets here and there.

This will mean a lot more possibilities related to animations, characters, and support for far more complex graphical effects. But also a lot of freedom in how the game behaves for bosses, mini-games, and whatever else.

Sure we could have done a lot of what we're doing in a simpler way, but we're trying to build a high-quality game with a lot of flexible and re-usable components. What we should be able to do with v0.3 and beyond is really exciting, and just as exciting is what other people might be able to do with the same game-engine or other resources we'll be offering as open-source, similar to PlayShapes, though perhaps with a bit more structure.

The style is being changed to be more detailed, clean and professional because most people generally like that, we like it that way, and we wanted to I wanted to use my style to stay sort of true to the PlayShapes style. Plus, we wanted newer and cleaner animations with better parts, and there were a lot of problems with the anatomy of the characters and their flexibility as well. We're making this game better, not flat-lining our potential.

I'm really fucking sick of 'when is this gonna be done' questions. Look 30 percent was a rough guess, you know why i gave such a low number? So you all would stop asking 'is it almost done' if we arn't even half way done, you should know that we can't even guess at a release date, the best i can tell you is, as it was suggested in a few other posts, it won't be done this year, maybe we can give you something for a christmas present, i dunno. animations-since non of the characters are fully done i think you can guess where animations are at as well.
story-done more or less, dialog is likely to get changed some when we put scenes together but 0.3's script is done as far as I'm concerned.
user interface layout-hell if i know, we couldn't agree on game mechanices so the development of this suffered.

so i think that covers everything, yeah it's sad progress, yeah you're gonna all be waiting a while, you don't like it? I suggest taking what playshapes made and make your own versions, no really give us some competiton it might motivate others to work faster.

As trunks says the engine is nearing something properly usable, it's a very difficult thing to quantify though and I'd say that 70% is accurate in terms of what we need for v0.3. Some things like the user interface are really incomplete but that's not important for our developers at the moment. The delay on the engine (and well, most areas) is a big mix of perfectionism, ambition, and trying to find the time to actually work on it all.

There's still a ton of stuff to do after the imaginary "100%" mark on the game engine as there are loads of cool features that aren't necessary to build the game, but will make it even more fun. Largely things like really cool visual effects that I've decided to skip for now to speed things along, as well as some stuff that's definitely remaining top secret for now to avoid spoiling the surprise! This is also just for v0.3, as v0.4 will introduce some more major features, though not nearly as many as v0.3, which has needed core-code (such as pseudo multi-threading), data file handling, UI (which is still a bit incomplete right now as I say), as well as the real meat of the game which is display of animations, handling of locations, player control etc. Just to give you an idea of how much goes into a high quality game engine for those who may think it's just a few lines of code, or don't know much about it at all as the game-engine is usually invisible to the player if it's doing the job right =D

People's patience means a lot to us, as we could have gone for a less ambitious update so people can get their instant gratification, but we're aiming for something special!

I will say artwork has gone far slower than it should have, for the first few months we had our heads up our asses about expectations of how artwork would be handled. We wanted vixentamer to supply the character sheets and then realized we couldn't use them, let alone get in contact with him, so we had to depend on Kal's trial and error process. Now we've got ptoon doing line work and that saves A LOT of time. Only problem is we didn't have him sooner, if we would have, I'm sure we'd have more to show by now.

You know we don't have a monopoly on this prodject, anyone is free to try and continue it using what playshapes gave you all, if you get tired of waited, do it better yourself, I've already said this, a competition of who could make the best LOK continuation might speed up work being done by everyone.

I'm a mod not only on pawsru but also on LoK forums. Mods on LoK have their own forum area. There have been a lot of ups/downs with progression, but it is going on. I've seen quite a few new animations/images recently done by the team for the game. To be frank, it is slow, but it is happening.

My personal feeling is... I doubt anything will be released to the public this year. I would suggest moving onto other things and simply coming back when it does show up. :)

Well, to be blunt, a game that has no release date can't be late. That's not to say we're not going way more slowly than we expected when we began, and sure, maybe things are a bit too ambitious, but it's the ambition (and the fact that we are realising those ambitions, albeit very slowly) that will hopefully make it a great update/upgrade to the game.

It's not like we're forcing anyone to sit and do nothing else until we release something, you can after all go play other stuff, even forget about LoK entirely, we'll release it when we're ready to do so. Short answer; because we're still on v0.3. While it's a much larger undertaking than it may seem, it's ultimately the first step in what will be an even longer road toward a fully developed game (v1.0). Granted we don't have all the steps in between planned out beyond "we'll leave X, Y, and Z till later so we can focus on A, B, and C for v0.3", the stages will be a lot more open after v0.3 is done with.

However, as far as v0.3 is concerned we may release some important snippets, such as Krystal's new look for instance, where early feedback will be beneficial, however beyond that it's better for us to internally come up with our own vision of what v0.3 should be (in terms of what we see the finished game being) as otherwise it'd be all too easy to debate every little thing to death, or constantly redo things and add new features as arise from criticism. Besides which, criticism isn't always completely useful early on anyway, it's far better to get criticism within the context of a finished product, or in our case a complete v0.3.

Maybe we're taking it to the other extreme and showing off way too little, but we're hoping to start showing off a bit more as I know pToon-T's eager to hear what people think of the new models.

Otherwise we've got a mostly finished krystal (again..) finished sharpclaws, and general scales. We need the lizard girls, the zoras(if we keep them in the village, they feel a bit out of place where they are, but they'll be in the game for sure) and the redeye(redeye has a sketch up done of it). there's a few characters i can't say much about but theres one fully finished character for the new areas, two that have linework done and i think only one that needs to be started. I know that sounds like horrible progress but considering ptoon-t is the third artist we've had doing character designs and he joined in august i think, that's not too bad. As long as he doesn't quit we shouldn't have to scrap any more character sheets.

We've got snippets of the new backgrounds redone, but there's still a lot to do, no one really wants to work on backgrounds and props. And no real animations for the animators to play around with yet.

It is far easier for the team to handle critique internally until we're at least happy with the result ourselves to some degree, then it can go to others for confirmation, or if we can't agree on something we can let others decide for us.

But putting things out for critique too soon can be counter-productive in the extreme, where we are often better off focusing on doing what we're doing and saving public critique to a more appropriate time. I mean, as an example, it wouldn't be appropriate for me to release my rough notes or doodles regarding the physics engine for critique as they just don't show enough to critique, it's much better for a semi-finished prototype to be shown off that people can play with to see how objects behave, and whether they behave in an expected manner.

This is hardly the place for such discussion anyway, if you want to show something specific off then please raise it on our developer forums, not here where it's guaranteed to just become yet more of an excuse for the whiners to whine some more.

Yes, they have lives, but they've taken a year for this. It's flash, it's not that fucking complicated. Then Ren decides he wants to go ghost on us. I guess everybody's complaining because, like i said, a flash game should not take a year, especially sence they were handed an engine, characters, backgrounds, etc. (Yes, i'm aware that they made a decision to redo everything). The simple fact is, had they used the stuff they were given off the bat by PlayShapes, they probably could have knocked out updates every other week. (Look at how long v1.2 took and you will see what i'm getting at.) Another thing that I think is causing a lot of aggravation is how little has been accomplished with this project. Once again, understanding that these guys have lives. After a year they have what? Some character models, a couple of backgrounds, maybe a bit of the engine developed? At this point it's not a matter of they have lives, it's a matter of shit's just not getting done. From what people from the team have said, With all due respect, it's looking like the majority of problems are coming from Ren just not knowing how to make a game engine. (See my previous point about how they started with one and ditched it.) Honestly, i think if Ren set up a torrent so people could get their hands on the engine, it would be done within a couple weeks, at worst.

To be perfectly honest, from what people from the team have said, if Ren would get his head out his ass this project would, likely, be completeable within the next month or so.

Aside from that, the models currently being used I haven't even touched since we decided to basically just use playshapes models, so no, you're not insulting my work, you're insulting katsu and playshapes by association. Most I ever did was a quick sloppy edit to show adifferent way of drawing the eye, and then a quick and bad photohop of one of katsu's previous krystal's hair and eye, onto one of his other krystal's heads just to show him how much better it would look. He started to go with that, and then switched to just redoing playshapes for whatever reason and we ran with it.

well when i were in 3rd grade i should have been in 4th grade (in norway) due to a change in system (1-10 grade instead of 1-9, start at age 6 instead of 7) so at the time i was like 10. around then i learned how to use grading shades by smearing pencil strokes, i could copy maps by looking at a map and drawing what i saw, usually getting it spot in. (small school but i were known to be a good drawer) i sucked at people, but excelled at everything else. i loved to copy of spawn pics and the like, ink stuff. copied it pretty well too... thing is, as i grew older, i drew less, so i did not advance as fast as i used to. atm i need to draw consistently for a while before i even get 'in the groove' and poses and anatomy come natural to me. as i sit now, i probably could not draw that good. i'm not bullshitting you, i were a much better 10 year old drawer than the 22 year old drawer i am now.

Aaaanyway, my original point being, look at artists whom you see pictures from, they got the anatomy right, usually it does not look natural but that is excused by their style. large hips small waists and the like. If i were to give you advice.. copy drawings a lot, then when you feel good at it, remember your strokes and draw from memory, like.. a character you know. use anatomy you have copied and as you feel it looks right, you will improve.
Like me, i tend to draw from the same angle all the time, or so i think at least... so i try to force myself not to. (usually draw characters viewing their left side x)

Yeah I use to do the whole 'drawing what i saw' stuff, copying by eye like still images and things like that. But I never really learned anything from doing it. It wasn't until college that i started to understand some of the important fundimentals of drawing figures.

I checked out your gallery, yeah like you said there's some issues, honestly this one http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1142605/ is the best you have, it's damn good, and I'm not even talking about the coloring cause i know you said another artist did that, the lineart on it is solid. It's almost jarring how well that one is compared to the others (no offense, some of the others are good but this one blows them out of the water).

I've graduated from college, if i learned anything it's to work from photos, get friends to pose for images or get someone to take pictures of me in the poses, I work better from that than trying to find picture references, and a lot of artists HATE to reference other images for their work, unless it's like just a part of the image, like a hand or something. I appreciate the advice, but I don't think copying other artists work is gonna help me by this point, really i just need to practice period. I know the rules of anatomy, I just need to draw more.

Alright, made some adjustments. Ignore the sketchiness, i was just doing it quickly. Just trying to show correct proportions and a more believable pose.

Some problems i have with the base playshapes model are that her stance is retarded, she walks with her arms in a very noticeable and awkward bend and she only does that so you can see her broken spine. This is fine in the original playshapes draft because its low quality, there's no shading and it fits. as soon as you dress it up, you draw attention to all the faults.
Secondly she walks with confident steps yet has her head permanently pointed downwards and looking shy which is a total contradiction and is distracting when you're playing the game and really seems lazy.
thirdly the slightly tilted view allowing you to see her other boob just dosen't work either, it looks wrong and stiff and distracting, it either needs to be re-done or just flattened to 2D.
Lastly the proportions are just wrong and look bad.

Trunks and the new artist have no idea how to draw so this might serve some useful pointers for them.

Haha, wow, I kinda needed a good laugh, but there are some points I want to address that were brought up that are legit.

1. The issues about her stance, her pose, how she walks, and how her head is tilted down. Just because the model right now is posed as playshapes originally did her, doesn't mean we will be having that as her default idle animation. She was just posed like this for convenence of getting the length of her limbs accurate. All of these problems will largely fall on 3y to make sure they don't happen, so her arms will relax at her sides, her head will be held up, she'll have a more natural walk. Remember this is just a picture of a model that can be posed in any number of ways. The only thing I need katsu to do is make a set of idle resting hands to interchange with the fists. (oh yeah and add in her pussy, lol)

2. the angle you see her at. yes I know this is a problem, it's been the biggest hurdle for ANYONE working on making a better model. Yes she should be viewed at a full profile view for walking, and we do want to make a full range of viewpoints for krystal, so later on down the road I would like for us to make a full profile view of krystal for when she's walking, and have the current view for when she's not moving or having sex. Right now we are doing good just to spruce up the original models, I doubt a true profile view will be in the next release, but it is planned on. It's not a huge issue for us right now because to be honest, watching her walk in true profile is kinda boring.

Katsu's tired of working on the project, me and Ebonizza were getting tired of it till RP and Katsu showed up, I think RP's the only one really still interested in working on this project to be honest but even he's getting weighed down by real life, he has been for a while now.

So this is a thread for the current members to say if they are still on board or not, what they are or aren't willing to do, try to find some new members, whatever really. If anyone wants to pick up the project just say so, I'll release what we had written up as far as the storyline goes. RP can post his backgrounds if he wants to, Katsu can post all the models and what he got done of the title screen and menu.

Just wanted to swing by and point out that the LoK "v0.3" on Funny Games is posted erroneously, it's just a third-party version of v0.2 in which all the SharpClaw Males are replaced with the SharpClaw Female bodies; there are a couple of new scenes I think but most are existing ones which is why none of the parts line up properly.

Also, the project that has halted was the effort underway in the Area 52 section of the LoK forums, the main project still exists and will eventually see the light of day, but as ever no release date is available and won't be until I'm damn sure it's nearly ready.
